I. How are we “built together”?

    A. Upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets (Ephesians 2:19-20a; Acts 2:42)
    B. Jesus is “the chief cornerstone” (Ephesians 2:20b-21; Psalm 118:22; Isaiah 28:16)
    C. Built together in unity for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit (Ephesians 2:22; 3:17; Colossians 3:16)

II. Things necessary in order to build

    A. Some things must be torn down (Judges 6:25-26; 2 Corinthians 10:4-6; Galatians 2:18)
    B. Plans for growth (Ephesians 2:21; 4:11-16)
    C. The proper foundation (1 Corinthians 3:11; Matthew 7:24-27; Psalm 89:14)
    D. Wisdom and knowledge (Proverbs 24:3-6; James 3:13-18)
    E. Workers (Matthew 9:35-38; 2 Timothy 2:15)
