There is no one verse in the inspired Word that contains the entirety God’s plan to save man, but a diligent study of the Scriptures will reveal that He has established the following:
- So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. (Romans 10:17)
- But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. (Hebrews 11:6)
- Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord (Acts 3:19)
- For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (Romans 10:10)
- Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” (Acts 2:38)
- But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. (1 John 1:7)
